I was #MadeInChina - #BornInTheUSA (all because of China’s ‘One Child Policy’) and had the fortune of being raise in rural west central Minnesota. I painted a series as a part of Springboard for the Arts’ Artists Respond: Equitable Rural Futures titled The Audacity to be Asian in Rural America: we owe you no apologies to share and archive my family’s immigration experiences (toured across MN from May 2021 - January 2024)
